Important: This service is for non-notifiable minor electrical work only — like-for-like replacement of existing fittings in existing positions. We do not carry out new circuit installations, consumer unit work, or any Part P notifiable work. If you're unsure whether your job falls within scope, we'll advise you and refer you to a registered electrician if needed.
A working pendant light, flickering bathroom fitting or old switch plate that needs replacing — these are the jobs we handle confidently. We replace ceiling lights with the same type of fitting, swap in new spotlights where spotlights already exist, and change switch plates and socket faceplates in their original locations.
The key is like-for-like replacement. We're not installing new circuit branches, moving sockets to different walls, or adding new ceiling roses where none exist. We keep everything straightforward, safe and within scope. If a job is more complex, we'll be honest about it.

No — that would require running new circuit cables, which is notifiable work. We replace fittings in positions where the infrastructure already exists.

Do I need to notify building control?

What about bathroom electrical work?
Replacing an existing bathroom light fitting or changing a switch plate in an existing location is fine. For new work or changes that require specialist knowledge, we'll refer you appropriately.
