About This Service

Moving house? Downsizing? End of tenancy? You might have large furniture that's become an obstacle. We dismantle it safely, keeping the pieces in good condition, and leave everything flat-packed and ready for collection, storage, or disposal. Wardrobes, beds, bookcases, office desks — we take them apart and organise it all so you can move on without the hassle.

We work carefully to preserve the furniture where possible, especially if you're reassembling it elsewhere. We also remove wall-mounted brackets, fill the holes left behind, and tidy up after. Dismantling is usually much quicker than assembly, so it's an efficient solution for clearing space.

Same-day dismantling is available for most jobs, subject to availability. We don't provide rubbish removal ourselves, but we'll leave everything organised and ready for your skip hire or collection service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take the furniture away?

We dismantle and organise the pieces for you, but we don't provide rubbish removal or disposal. We can leave items flat-packed and ready for collection, or you can arrange skip hire or a removals company to take them.

Can you dismantle and reassemble at a new address?

Absolutely. We can dismantle at your old place and then reassemble at your new one. Just book both services with us and we'll coordinate the schedule.

How long does dismantling usually take?

It depends on the item, but most jobs are quicker than assembly. A large wardrobe might take 45 minutes to dismantle, whilst a bed frame takes 20–30 minutes.

Do you fill the holes left by wall fixings?

Yes, we fill holes left by brackets, shelves and other wall-mounted items. For larger holes, we may recommend professional plastering, but we'll always tidy up the basics.

Can you remove a TV bracket and make the wall good?

Yes. We remove the bracket, fill the holes, and sand everything down to leave a neat finish ready for decoration.
